It's finally starting to cool off in Austin and feel like fall in the mornings! This summer was so hot, I was definitely not moving as much as I normally do. I mean, I was working out but not doing my extra few daily dog walks. (Sorry, Bowie!) Funny because, I still put food into my mouth like I was running seven marathons every day. OOPSIES! Oh well, it was a great summer. And I feel like I finally have my breakfast taco spot locked down which is a win in my book. (Papalote, FYI)
With that said, I just looked down and did not see abs. So, I put together a little plank action for y'all! Adios, breakfast tacos!
You can repeat these moves over and over again, hold for 20 seconds, 10 seconds, 60 seconds-there's no wrong answer! This is YOUR workout, I'm just here to give you some inspo! Below are the descriptions of the moves if you need some guidance.
Note: this will not cancel out breakfast tacos but if you keep adding it to your routine 3-5 times a week, I can guarantee it will make your core stronger. It is important to “build” your abs from the inside out. A strong core eliminates back pain, gives you a better posture, promotes better balance and stability in day to day activities and exercise performance, and it can slim your waistline and make you feel better about your breakfast taco choices. #balance
“When in doubt, plank it out!”
